lyrics
Well I'm just here to light one up,and lean back
Baby won't you tell me what to do to help you relax
I'm just here tonight, tonight to get my scene back
And maybe let you listen to a little of my feedback
I wake up, and turn the page
But every single day I've ever seen seems to remain the same
It's like the pages in the book are stuck to one another
OH me, oh my, oh brother
What if I told you I walked with the devil today
And the devil told me boy this world's gonna end someday
So I stood up and I said Mr devil why you trying to be my friend
La, da, da da, da
Walk with the devil
Oh man, what's the plan?
Won't you let me lay it out for you so you can understand
I'm just here tonight, tonight for one reason
I'm just here tonight, tonight, to make friends
Look at you out there spinning around in the rain
You do that hard enough your bound to go insane
Yeah you do it good enough you cause damage to your brain
I said it once and I'll say it again
What if I told you I walked with the devil today
And the devil told me boy this world's gonna end someday
So I stood up and I said Mr devil why you trying to be my friend

It’s no wonder that this album was critically acclaimed; from the first tack it captures your attention and keeps you entertained throughout its entirety. To me they still portray the presence and ambience of Indie legends ‘Built To Spill’. This album has been a constant on my player’s rotation and I’m sure that anyone who is lucky enough to purchase it will have it playing the same amount of air time. It is pretty special.
